My current studio practice is working to harmonize my attraction to materials with my newfound attraction to data (and specifically how it is captured as information). While my studio practice previously focused on how materials can be clarified into embodied forms, my most recent work focuses on how material data can be expressed as active bodies of information.

Beginning with questions about how bodies of information can be materially re-formed, I want to extend my research to consider both physical materials and digital materials, tracking how the containment and conversion of data into information changes as it moves across the physical - digital continuum. I am especially interested in how enactive interfaces can be utilized to create a space for developing social knowledge.
